What is upcycling?

It is a process that involves taking something no longer used, not fit for purpose and giving it a new life and function.

What is the difference in upcyling and recycling?

The latter takes materials like paper, plastic, glass and metal and breaks them down. This in turn creates a new product. Upcycling is not breaking down anything. It’s sorting them and reusing them in a new way.

One of the biggest upsides for us is that an upcycled piece is that one of a kind bespoke piece. You can add as much personality and quirkiness as you like. What’s not to love? We also run workshops to promote this. Our workshops are perfect for ladies night/day out/hen parties, teenage groups also for fundraisers. Create your own event. The possibilities are endless.

Hand painted furniture – Upcycling

As a proud member of ‘The House of Upcycling’, an independent authority on professional upcycling, we offer options for your furniture and interiors. We can refinish your furniture in a choice of paint finishes, colour and designs. It all depends on you and how much fun you want to have. There is no point in having that sentimental piece sitting in a corner with a blanket thrown over it. We can help with the look in the new room it will take centre stage in.

We also off a sourcing service that includes used quality items, antiques and used kitchens. This can include sofas, armchairs, dining table and chairs. We have trusted upholsterers that we work with and can also provide your choice of fabrics, colours to complete the look.
